Candace is the veterinarian and the founder of Wagging Wheels Mobile Veterinary Services. She graduated from veterinary school in 2017 and has since gained experience across many areas of veterinary medicine, including emergency care, urgent care, and general practice. Through this journey, she discovered that her true calling was mobile veterinary medicine.
She found mobile practice allowed her to spend meaningful, unrushed time with both clients and their pets—time that is essential for education, communication, and truly understanding each patient’s needs. By bringing veterinary care directly into the home, pets are able to remain in a familiar, comfortable, and low-stress environment, which often makes what can be a scary experience much calmer for everyone involved—including their people.
Her goal is to bring as much of the quality and capability of a brick-and-mortar hospital as possible into the safety and comfort of your pet’s home ( or in their driveway in the state of the art mobile vet clinic)
Her love for animals extends well beyond her work. She considers pets to be family, and that belief is reflected in every aspect of her practice. At home, she shares her life with nine pets of her own: two English Springer Spaniels named MJ and Raphaella, a Rottweiler named Bear, and six cats—Milo, Killian, Charlie, Fives, Drei, and Heidi.
When she is not caring for patients, she enjoys taking her dogs on adventures—especially to the mountains—spending quality time with family and friends, and relaxing with a good TV binge.
